Camille Derelle
While studying for my bachelor's degree, I had the opportunity to acquire experience in various sectors of the tourism industry. Tourist information, the airline industry and the hotel industry are some of the fields dotting my career path. I therefore decided to pursue my studies in the Tourism Development master's program at the UQAM School of Management. During this time, I wrote a paper on the tourism potential of several religious heritage sites in Montreal.
A lifelong learner, I proudly joined the dynamic team at the Tourism Intelligence Network in January 2012 to indulge my passion for travel on a daily basis as I follow the latest trends. I am working on several research projects, focussing more specifically on cultural and heritage tourism.
In the words of Jean Grenier, "One travels not to escape oneself—an impossible feat—but rather to find oneself."
